Before my anniversary flowers from my mom died I took some additional shots. I looked at them a little closer and noticed how the middle part (stamen?) curled like this picture above and found it absolutely beautiful! I hope I did it justice. Also a green flower was just getting ready to open up so I was able to capture it in the curled position :o) I love the spiral it created!
