Inspiration On The Farm: The Sessions

_LM57212-11wm

While it was not a formal workshop Jennifer Warthan ask a couple friends if they would come over and sit for a session with ten photographers! Eek talk about intimidating! (see below)

The family was so sweet and once the little boys warmed up to all the cameras they were so animated and sweet! The little girl was turning 1 in two weeks and just adored the kittens! She was just so absolutely sweet and had an amazing smile! All around it was a wonderful session, with gorgeous light, on a gorgeous farm, what more could you ask for?!?! (o:

Jennifer took us out scouting with her adorable children so we got a few sweet shots of them playing in the puddles! <3

More Desert

My adorable daughter and wonderful hubby entertained me today by helping me out by doing a little impromptu photoshoot! I just love watching her little personality grow more and more each day. As you can see with the second to last image she's getting a tiny bit of sass with her poses!

Week 36-39 Project 52

Week 36 - Favorite Thing

Making my daughter smile is everything to me! <3

Week 37: Places and Spaces

Aside from where family is, Machine Falls in Tennessee is my absolute favorite place. I cannot express how this place made me feel but it was surreal!

This is an old image that I would have loved to re-edit to my current editing style but that external hard drive failed me recently, so it's a great example of where I was during my photography journey!

Week 38: Cozy

I have a very snugly girl and while it makes for very unproductive days I just love it <3

Week 39: Wild Card

I decided to focus on 'blue' this week. I can't get over how beautiful she is and how lucky I am to have such a sweet, smart girl! <3

Twig Camera

I have been eyeing this beautiful Twig camera for a couple months now (ever since I saw a Laura Winslow post on it) but finally was abel to justify purchasing one when I got my business all set up. It's a brilliant prop for family/children sessions! There is a 'shutter button' that is spring loaded and the front 'lens' of the camera twists to give a child the true effect of focusing/zooming a lens! I anticipated a bit of a heavy type wood but it's just wonderfully light weight and feels sturdy. I hope to add to my stash with a couple more colors and the instagram looking one, but for now I think this is the perfect addition to la morgan photography and Zoey approved! <3

Apparently I do this too much because she knows how to do the self-portrait :oP

Disclaimer: This post is in no way paid for by Twig. When I find products I love I just want to share! <3

Zoey's Smile. Edition 4

And another addition to my weekly Zoey Smiles series! I didn't have the camera out much this week but we did get a couple smile images! She is just ridiculously adorable (in spite of her brattitude at times) and just lights up my life! <3

Ah, that little smirk modeling a dress I made her!

Aw, my sweet angel. Wearing a new dress her Oma made her!

Zoey's Smile. Edition 3

Another week has gone and another post of Zoey smiles from the week is here! We've been modeling a bunch of goodies we got in the mail last week and in some of them she was smiling!! I hope you enjoy this new little weekly tradition of mine meant for you and to put a smile on your face! <3

In our matching mint pants!

Zoey's Smile. Edition 1

I am starting a new series called "Zoey's Smile" because I feel selfish keeping it all to myself. These posts will most likely just be images and no words because I feel that smile speaks volumes. I know I am biased but I feel her smile can warm even the coldest of days and brighten the darkest of days. A smile can go a long ways and I just want to put a smile on all my faithful readers' faces <3
